RESEARCH PERSPECTIVE: THE LONG GENEALOGIES OF SPIRITUAL IDEAS AND PRACTICES

We’re in the midst of a planetary transformation that requires the collaboration of science, art, politics, and social activism. For me, Dogger Bank is an excellent example of how we can build just relationships with the more-than-human world. I am particularly interested in the long genealogies of spiritual ideas and practices that have gained traction in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, from earth-based spiritualities to astrology, challenging hegemonic narratives of European Modernity
